I really like Tim Spector but that's a bold statement telling us to eat fermented foods to increase the diversity of our gut microbiome when many studies show that 99.9% of all ingested probiotics are transient and don't stay in the gut.

Sit a lot - you die early. Flexibility, mobility and a healthy diet are the keys to growing old. Eliminate highly processed foods from your diet. Junk foods have no nutritional value. It’s full of chemicals and sugars that didn’t exist 50 or 100 years ago. Food manufacturers are getting rich at the expense of consumers health. The United States has become a country of sick children and adults. Not everything is as it seems. Move your body every 30 minutes. Eat real food. Nourish your body, mind and spirit. By the way, I am 77 years old. Joy and Peace. 🙏🏽

Doesn't it follow that meat products last longer in the GIT than plant based food products? Isn't it also likely that meat at body temperature in the GIT gets awfully putrid in the five days that it takes to move through the intestines? Might this not increase the incidence of colon cancer?

Statins are horrible! Unfortunately they only have the appearance of lowering bad cholesterol levels in bloodwork. LDL cholesterol alone has large harmless particles and small harmful particles. Statins lower only the harmless ones and can actually increase the harmful ones but because these aren’t tested separately in conventional medicine it LOOKS on bloodwork like LDL is lower meanwhile the reason it looks that way is because it lowered the harmless large ones but the harmful ones have actually increased but you can’t see it. It would be better for people to be put on Berberine. There’s numerous negative effects of Statins on top of that.

Alcohol does kill brain cells. Some of those cells can be regenerated over time. In the meantime, the existing nerve cells branch out to compensate for the lost functions. This damage may be permanent.

Chemotherapy causes instantaneous menopause and believe me you you are expected to " soldier on" .in fact it is demanded and if your memory and concentration goes to heck no one has answers. This is a tremendous unmet need and it is my personal experience thatthe oncologists are not trained to help. They think .menopause is just hot flshes and night sweats.

Its now getting to a point that I fear all food and despair trying to chose any particular regime. Even whole food is a minefield of possible issues depending on how its produced or where it comes from. Grass fed, corn fed, wild caught or farmed fish. Salt filled chicken. Where the hell does one start. No wonder people are turning to drink, just trying ro stay healthy is a massive gamble.

It really angers me that my USC dentist was clueless and just prescribed extra strength fluoride paste and fluoride treatments which didn't help. When, after 6 months of keto, I had him examine my mouth, he was stunned. He didn't believe diet could completely prevent cavities. They said, "We wait until you have a diagnosis and then we refer you to a specialist and then they will run those tests." Wow, just wow! Amazing lady. 102 years old and still working with real purpose, that is someone to learn from. The best advice - living through the adversity and learning from it. Don't ever give up. Keep moving, keep searching for what will help you and things will always, always get better even if it takes a lot of time. And yes, love yourself - accept your limitations and your new reality if things are going bad and really care for yourself and that will help you find ways of getting better too. And be a torch for other people - love that. We need more of her mindset within the medical system. I'm a great believer in eating clean for good health and surprised that was side tracked,, but everything else she has said is very powerful too.

although - I don’t agree that in ancient times women were dying and thus not reaching menopause - and that because now we get older we do get into it. Menopause MUST also have another sense, when thinking in terms of reproduction: you don’t want a mom to die when she has a young baby to nurse. Human babies/children take soo long to grow up and be on their own feet - i am sure nature has taken this into consideration…

The only thing you lost is an emotionally unavailable and immature and ridiculous man who is not worthy of you and your energy! 1. Know your value!!! (Do NOT doubt yourself.) 2. Take yourself and your worth seriously. You need to BE A QUEEN to be treated like one. 3. Don’t give easy access to anyone, at any time. Access to your energy should be expensive. 4. Do NOT only express your boundaries. YOU MUST show them. 5. Always be ready to walk away. 6. Show that you are focused on actions not on words. 7. Have a healthy degree of skepticism. You’re not naive and you’re not negative. 8. You must be willing to say NO and you must be willing to lose the man, if needed. 9. Never EVER chase a man! A truly worthy woman, (who knows her worth) does not EVER chase a man. Giving the same energy that you're getting is key and if you don't like that energy then move on!!! NOW!!! It can be hard but that's when you need to choose yourself over the damn illusion/fantasy. A man who loves a woman will not ignore her, ever, period. So... If he ignores me I will step back and he will lose me. Simple. Simple. Non-dramatic and uncomplicated. I don’t, under any circumstance: play these childish-abusive-controlling mind games. I will only be with a man who values and appreciates me, and treats me as the Queen, I AM. (Daughter of the Most Hight; King of kings!) Because I am a beautiful and kind and divine and sexy and wise and intelligent and magical woman: who knows my worth. Period. Also, We create each moment. This moment contains, through my focus, both positive and negative... I can put my attention on what I lack, what I don't have, what traumas I do have etc... And, I can put my attention on the calm moment that I am in, NOW, the food I just ate, and the fact that my body is satisfied, the shelter I do have... (You get my idea!) Both are here... And now. For the sake of fairness, I will allow myself to cry my pains, in the moment if/when they come/arise, AND also acknowledge the beauty I still have in my life NOW. Pain? Yes. Suffering? Indeed. And, also: wonderous magical divine beauty. Blessings to you!

I really wish I could do fish, I just can't. Can't even walk near a fish market, the smell is anything but appetizing.

Please please help me!!! 😢🙏🙏🙏. I am so lost and cant afford to trust doctors around here anymore. I dont know what to do???? I am 43 and 2 months ago after yrs of asking to be tested from symptoms i finally was tested and am actually POST MENOPAUSAL 😢. I HAVE arteriosclerosis coronary artery disease and am in the 90% from the heart smart scan. I work out and eat better. But i dont know if i should do HRT. I tried to ask my doc questions and i left feeling really uninformed. I am worried because all the health issues i have had. They put me on massive amounts of mental health meds for years!!!! You literally are describing myself. I even had went under 2 surgeries on my knee in which caused me to become disabled and laid up for over 5.5 years on a bed. My symptoms have gone away in terms of brain fog, insomnia, night sweats, hot flashes are very light and once here in there if im overwhelmed. Ive gotten off all mental meds, and all blood pressure meds. I already had a dexa scan. I eat right, workout and lift weights. I lost weight. I went from a size 20 to a size 6. But im getting stronger and building muscles. My health has been the best its been since i can even remember.... i am afraid to throw a wrench in the works and i have zero clue if i should use HRT ? My doctor gave me a vaginal estrogen cream.... i. Suppose to try it 1 x a week. To help with vaginal dryness. I dk if i shld do that or if it cld cause issues? I dk what are the right questions i need to ask my doctor to get the answers i need to know any help is so appreciated. I did a dexa scan and it came back okay. Ive been telling all women to watch your channel and to look you up online and that you have a book. Im sooo lost!! Please help anyone!!! 🙏 im 43 and have been failed my entire life from the medical industry and it caused me to miss out on my kids and grand kids and life. So many medications i didnt need, and so many serious health issues i never shld of had. I was 37 when doctor stole my life for years from me by not helping me. Being post menopausal now.... do you recommend for me to still do HRT ? I am so lost and not sure what to do cause i cant trust doctors any longer.
